Hello Disc Golfers and thank you for visiting The Landing Zone Disc Golf Shop! My name is Dave Wallace I have been playing disc golf for 23 years and the game keeps me wanting more, as its a game that evolves over a lifetime. I have spent a lot of time on a lot of courses mainly in California, but I also have played DG in Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, and, British Columbia, Canada!
I always pack my discs when traveling and have been on many great disc golf road trips while enjoying great food and drink and other activities the area has to offer! I have met some amazing people and gained a lot of new friends through disc golf so the journey continues and more courses in different states and countries are on my list!
I started out playing with Innova Discs as them and Discraft was our only selection back in the day for the most part and still are #1 and #2 as far as most discs sold yearly. Fast forward to today and there are over 20 manufactures in the game today! MVP Discs Sports is surging as a popular choice with the Envy going in the basket from all over the course and the Wave and Octane carrying distance off the tee pad. They continue to put lots of time and research into their products, which is producing great results on the course. We have one of the largest selections of MVP Discs for sale!
Legacy Discs has been producing fast flying discs out of Southern California for over a decade now! The Cannon and Outlaw continue to be the fastest discs around.
Discmania has broken away from Innova's factory and is producing their own discs in Sweden and shipping out of Colorado and has formulated some very nice feeling plastic for their molds.
Dynamic Discs staying strong with the trilogy collection with Latitude 64 and Westside Discs included in the trio.
Entering 2026 Disc Golf is at an all time high as far as players joining the game, along with more and more courses popping up all over the world! Tournament players are receiving lucrative contracts and prize purses are reaching all time highs every year! 2x Ricky Wysocki, 1x Gannon Buhr, and 2x World Champion Issac Robinson are still the players to beat, but with players like Anthony Barela, former World Champion James Conrad, Ezra Robinson, Coe Redalen, Calvin Heimburg, 6x WC Paul McBeth, Eagle McMahon, Kevin Jones, Kyle Klein, Simon Lizotte and ,European smooth throwing Niklas Anttila and plenty more up and coming young guns, the competition never lets up!
The FPO division is just as competitive as the ageless fan favorite California native Ohn Scoggins coming off her 1st World Title in 2025 is playing very well in 2026 along with Missy Gannon, Silva Saarinen, Eveliina Salonen, Holyn Handley, Kat Mertsch who all can win on any given weekend! The FPO division is exciting to watch as the competition is very close week in and week out as these females are throwing far and maiking big putts more than ever!
